Climate changes, so what is it supposed to be in the future?

International policy on climate protection

There are no any countries in the world, which would gain big advantages from the global warming. It has already made a significant damage and threatens with more serious consequences in the future. It is unreal to stop global warming right now, because humanity can not do without energy. The only way is to do everything possible for making the climate change level as small as it can be. Maximal reduce of human influence to the nature, stopping of the natural ecosystem’s and forests’ anthropogen distraction process and make actions for their reconstruction.

Humanity has to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. To take into the consideration rapid growth of earth’s population, it will need substantial increasing of energetic effectiveness and serious changes at the different sectors of economy. Also it is necessary to know the possible damage which can be caused by the climate change, to find and analyze adaptation measures and measures of GHG emission reduce. The answer for the climate change must be admission of complex strategy of actions. It is impossible to solve the climate change problem without policy decisions on the international and national level and coordinated actions.

International society works on this problem on the following base:

  • Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which establishes main principles of international actions and obligations, directed to the saving of climate system.
  • Kyoto Protocol for UNFCCC, which quantitively determines obligations on greenhouse gas emissions reduction
  • IPCC Guidelines, which summarizes available scientific information on climate change problem and prepares reports to governments.
Ultimate purposes of these important International agreements and Organizations are saving of the earth climate system for the next generations and sustainable ecological and economical development.
